Jodi Hudson

Betty Joan Hudson "Jodi" was born in Wichita, Kansas to the late Chester A. and Nadien Baker, on March 16, 1930. She had two younger siblings, Barbara Baker-Haney and Gary Baker.

She married Robert L. "Bob" Hudson on September 3,1959 and gained three children, Victoria, Bobby Dianne, and Robert L. "Robby" Hudson, Jr. She spent her days taking care of the children and her husband, adopting a fourth child, Jody B. Hudson in 1971.

In her early life, Jodi worked as an executive secretary in the insurance industry, alongside her husband Bob. After many years in the corporate world she retired to be a stay at home mom with her son Jody. Once Jody started school, she had that empty nest feeling. Knowing her love of being around children, Jodi went to work for the school district at Loma Elementary in 1982. She worked as the school secretary at Loma Elementary until 1996, retiring to enjoy her time as a grandmother. She continued taking care of her husband Bob until his passing in 2009, 4 months shy of their Golden Anniversary.

Jodi Spent the remainder of her life pouring love into all she did, from gardening to traveling to see grandchildren and great grandchildren, making friends everywhere she went. She loved knitting and making her world renowned peanut brittle for her friends and loved ones.

Jodi passed away peacefully at home with family and began her heavenly life on Thursday, May 26th, 2022.

Jodi is survived by her son, Jody B. Hudson, Daughter-in-Law, Tracey A. Hudson, Her grandchildren, Tony Lunetta, Robert "Robby" (Theresa) Lunetta, Paul Lunetta, Jennifer Chapman, Amanda Hyskell, Nathaniel Hudson-Hartman, Chelsea (John) Roberts-Turner, Zachary (Cassandra) Hudson, Brittney (Taylor) Cutshall, Casey Hudson, and her great grandchildren, Takoda Lunetta, Caelin Lunetta, Robert "Robby" Lunetta jr, Whitney Lunetta, Everette Lunetta, Afton Lunetta, Kiley Hudson, Brody Hudson, Brantley Hudson, Ryker Cutshall, Kyzen Cutshall and her great, great grandson, Ezra Lunetta.

Jodi was preceded in death by her Parents and siblings; husband Robert L. "Bob" Hudson; Daughters Victoria Elizabeth Hudson and Bobby Dianne Hudson-Roberts; and her son Robert L. Hudson jr. "Robby"

A remembrance and memorial ceremony will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, June 11th at Fruita Assembly of God Church, 108 S. Peach St., in Fruita, CO.
