John Robert Conard
Age 65 Died September 29, 2021 of an accidental slip and fall.
Born September 10, 1956 In Merced, California
He was the son of the late Robert Gordon Conard & Marian Louise Conard
John was a self-employed carpet cleaner for 15 years. He also worked in the Knudsen dairy plant for 18 years.
John was a new member of Fellowship Church in Grand Junction, Colorado. John and his wife, TJ, were Exeter, CA residents and regularly attended Rocky Hill Church for years.
He enjoyed fishing, slot machines, collecting “treasures” from yard sales, auctions, etc. He loved motorcycles, his old rusty truck, 1951 Chevy “Charlie”, and watching the critters in nature. John absolutely loved living in Colorado!
He was outgoing and never knew a stranger. He had a great smile and people liked interacting with him.
John worked very hard all his life. His number one priority was to serve His Lord by taking care of people, especially those he loved.
John was preceded in death by his mother and father, his beloved grandmother and grandfather, and his best friend, Ron Deal.
John is survived by: his wife, TJ; his three sons, Aaron Colby Cluck (wife Sara), Brandon Conard, and Shawn Conard (wife Kim); his older brother, Andy (wife Aurora) and twin sister, Kay; his niece, Tara Anderson; his nephews, Michael Conard and Vince Conard; his grandchildren, Jack Conard, Cayde Conard, Lauren Conard, and Vladimir Conard.
John’s Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Rocky Hill Church, 237 south E Street in Exeter, California 93221. The service will be from 10-11 am with refreshments and dessert afterwards in the café.
John’s Celebration of Life is being planned for some time in April 2022. Location, date and time TBD.
