John Charles Fulham

John Charles Fulham, 86 passed away on October 29, 2024 at Hope West Care Center in Grand Junction, Co surrounded by his family. John was born March 28, 1938 in Colorado Springs, Co. At 18, he graduated from Saint Francis de Sales High School. He continued his education at Regis University, Western State College, and University of Denver. In 1964 John began his career in education where he served as a principal, teacher, coach and mentor. During those 40 years, John garnered respect and admiration among his students, staff, faculty, and community alike. Although John's passion was education, his greatest joy and purpose was found within the walls of his home. John and Linda, John's wife of 59 years, hand in hand created a home filled with love, laughter and endless support for their three children. John was known for his incredible sense of humor, his knack for storytelling, crazy antics, culinary skills and being the life of the party. John is survived by his sister, Betty Harris, wife Linda. daughter Susie (Jeff) and sons Andrew (Lela) and Joseph (Hillary), four grandchildren Mackenzie Russell (Max), Kate Russell, Elijah Fulham. Audrey Fulham, and his furry companion Cali. While we mourn the loss of our beloved brother, hus-band, father, and friend, we take much solace in the countless lives John has touched. Though he is gone from our sight, his legacy will continue to live on in each and every one of you. 

The memorial service will be held on November 9. 2024 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church at 9:30am. There will also be a celebration of life to follow at The Clarion Hotel from 1 to 5 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to Hope West Care Center or Saint Joseph Catholic Church which were close to John's heart.
