John O'Brien

John Richard O’Brien “Jack” went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 27, 2020.  Jack was surrounded by his wife and family.

Jack was born in Colby, Kansas on May 13, 1935.  He was the second of four children, and the first son of Anna Mae (Sprague) and John E. O’Brien.

Jack was proud to serve as a SeaBee in the US Navy for three years.  Jack was a Journeyman Ironworker out of Denver Local Union #24 for over 55 years.

Jack married the love of his life, Beverly Ann, on June 27, 1959.  Together they were blessed with eight children:  John (Patsy Davis), Michael, Patricia, Mari (Randy Alt), Kerry, Kelly, Sheila (Todd Sorenson), Veronica (Andrew Kier).  Jack was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Mae, his sister Donna, and two brothers, Raymond and Dennis, his daughter-in-law Mikki, and two grandsons John Richard O’Brien, III “Jack” and Derek Lee Donley.
