Today my best and oldest friend, mentor and idol passed. 92 years he has seen alot. He is the best dad and friend a young man could have wished for. He raced USAC midgets in the 1950's Raced Pikes Peak Hill Climb in his midget. He wen with me tp race theu my racing days. Installed guns in bombers buring WWII. . Was a Jeffco sherrif posse deputy. Worked for Contiential airlines flew planes .survived polio in his youth. Built many driveways and dirt work projects in conifer evergreen area. Took and others and me under his wing. Taught me everything I know and did not hold back. Lessons of life bucket rides in the equipment of hos business. Watched laughed and enjoyed a Michelob beer as my friends and I set the field on fire with fireworks and he smiled. Letting boys become young men. Never yelled but when he spoke it was worth listening. The best papa in the world.

I have so much to say I can go on on and on.. I hope I can continue to be a great father husband and grand Pa. ( someday) He set the examples for me to follow. I will miss the Man know as John P Pittsenbarger, Black Elk, Zeke. MR P, Papa and dad. I ALREADY miss his voice calling me Fred.
