Jose graduated from Hoehne High School in Hoehne Colorado.

He is a veteran of the United States Airforce.

Jose retired from the United States Airforce as a Civil Servant out of Lowery Airforce Base Colorado.

In his youth he played baseball and basketball for his high school and was a avid fan of all Colorado sports teams. As an adult he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and playing golf with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Martha, his parents and brothers Frank and Arthur Cordova. He is survived by his five boys Robert, Frank, Raymond, Joe, Timothy, brother Jimmy and sister Blanche. He is also survived by his beloved Niece Denise and her husband Chris Valdez who took care of him with the greatest love and affection in his final years.
