In Loving Memory of Joshua Ray Fields

Joshua (Josh) Ray Fields, 33, husband of LeAnda Fields of Clifton, Colorado, passed away Friday, March, 4th, 2022 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Born October 27th, 1988, in Grand Junction, Colorado, he was the youngest of three and the son of David Gonzales, and Cinde Fields of Grand Junction, Colorado.

Joshua attended Grand Junction High School, worked in various industries settling in the Construction Field. Growing up Josh spent a lot of time with his cousins, aunts, uncles and family. Celebrating holidays, birthdays and just fun family days together. Many times, you would find several of them jumping on the trampoline in his aunt’s back yard or playing football at a nearby park. Josh took his love for family with him as he grew up. Josh married LeAnda LaGrow on October 19th, 2013. Josh made his marriage a priority because he saw it as a blessing. They soon grew their family to a total of seven, baby Annalynn born just last November of 2021. Josh’s family meant everything to him. He worked hard to be a great father, a good provider and to make sure they knew they were loved. His most cherished activities were just to be with his family. Any typical day at home you would find him wrestling on the floor with his son Daniel or playing alongside the other children. He really was a big kid at heart and enjoyed every minute of it. Josh was a gentle giant and a very genuine person. When he gave you a hug, you felt how much meaning he put into them. He had a great sense of humor, he loved to tease and give a hard time to anyone he could, especially his wife, older children, parents, cousins, in laws and aunts and uncles. Some of his most treasured times were spending the day with his in-laws Jeannie and Paul, who he considered a second mom and dad. He loved working on the truck with Paul and truly valued the lessons he learned from him. Our family will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his wife LeAnda Fields, their children Shanoah Fields, Daniel Fields, DaCoya Fields, Damara Fields, Annalynn Fields, his mother Cinde Fields, his father David Gonzales, brother Jacob Fields, sister Jessica Fields, Mother & Father in laws Jeannie & Paul Lagrow, four nephews, three aunts, four uncles, nine cousins and twenty second cousins.

In addition to his Grandmother Evelyn Centeno, Josh was preceded in death by his first baby girl.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 19th, 2022, at Brown's Cremation & Funeral Service 904 N. 7th St | Grand Junction, CO 81501.
