Judy Michaels

August 14, 2021 Judith Ann Michaels (Judy), 79, passed away
peacefully in her sleep with her daughters at her side, after a long
battle with COPD and a short battle with cancer, in her home in Grand
Junction, Colorado.

Judy was born December 8, 1941 in Canton, Ohio. Grew up in Ohio,
married and had two daughters and a son. Later in life she moved with
her husband to Glasgow, Kentucky. In 2003, after retiring from her
long career in the nursing home industry, moved to Colorado to be
closer to her daughters.

She fought hard and quiet, never a complaint! She was prepared to
meet her Creator with courage and joy. Judy was very loved by all her
family, friends and co-workers. She always made time for everyone,
always providing support and love. You could always find her
crocheting, painting or winning at dominoes or cards. Her bright blue
eyes and big smile would light up the room. She was a great Mom and
a wonderful person, also blessed with a wonderful sense of humor.

Judy is survived by daughter Robyn Reinhard of Paonia, Colorado;
daughter Crystal Reinhard (Pat Mares) of Meeker, Colorado; son Eric
Baxter of Fostoria, Ohio; and her lifelong best friend Richard Michaels
of Glasgow, Kentucky.

She was proceeded in death by her brother
Doug L. Englehart; mother Betty Jane McGarry; and father John
Douglas Englehart.

She requested no services, but her ashes will be scattered at a future
date. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name
