Katherine Ann Grenz

It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of my beloved mother, Katherine Ann Grenz passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on September,6, 2023 Katherine was a fighter through such a difficult battle and never once let anyone see her struggle. She smiled through her toughest days and persevered not for herself but for those she loved.

Katherine was born in Fruita Colorado at Lower valley hospital to parents John and Shirley Komorow July 11, 1960. She attended Central High School and became a office's secretary she spent time doing factory assembling jobs as well . Later on Katherine went back to school to become a licensed manicurist and eventually in 1998 opening her own nail shop in Fruita Colorado she loved doing nails After four short years she closed the nail shop to pursue other occupations in the healthcare field. she became a CNA and work for family health west, Aspen ridge, She was a woman who held many titles but her biggest accomplishment in life was being a mother to her only child Jamie Anne Grenz she raised her child with love and devotion. She valued hard work and honesty. The things that brought Katherine most joy in life include; laughing with her daughter about silly stuff. Loving and playing with her grandkids, warm hugs beautiful smiles and loving heart's. She loved watching the Denver Broncos beat the Oakland Raider during football season. going on walks with her beloved dog Elsa. 

She will be missed by All that knew her. 

Katherine was a fiercely dedicated grandma, mother and A supportive and loving daughter. A loyal and caring sister. And a trustworthy friend. Many would describe Katherine was genuine, strong, loyal, and giving with a tough exterior but a gentle soul and a heart of gold.

Katherine is survived by her only child Jamie Grenz and eight grandchildren Evan Alexander Grenz, Isaac Riley Rivera, Markus Rudy Rivera, Grace Olivia Grenz, Nash Rayson Grenzvilliarreal , Evelynn Nicole Mackie, Lilia rose Mackie, Joseph john Mackie, her brother Russell Komorow , niece Amy Komorow, cousins, James ,Jay, Jeffrey, Jerry , Joy, Janet, Bud, Zack ,Josiah, Sherry, Sierra ,Kyrie, gatlin ,Cat
