Kathie Sackett

September 7, 1956 – August 14, 2018

Kathie Faye Willis Mahaffey Burgess Sackett passed away at Hopewest Hospice in Grand Junction, Colorado on August 14, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with colon cancer.

She is preceded in death by her parents Beal and Ida Kathleen Willis, sister Carol Miller, brother James Michael Willis, and husbands Earl Steven Burgess and Larry Sackett and grandchild Destiny Bush.  She is survived by her sisters, Mary Schoonover of Michigan, Sharon Willis of Texas and Brother Charles Willis of Arizona. She is also survived by her three daughters, Pamela Mahaffey and Jennifer Mahaffey of Grand Junction, Colorado and Angela (Paul) Holland of Hensley, Arkansas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Adrianna and Amaya Mahaffey and Jake, Sean, and Peyton Holland. The family will hold a private ceremony at a later date where her ashes will be scattered with her husband, Larry’s ashes.
