Kathryn F. Martin , 12-29-1931 06-04-2018

Passed away surrounded by her loving husband and two children. In her final days the

staff

Of Larchwood Care Center and Hospice care showed her and her family exceptional care

and compassion.

Kathryn was born in Grants Pass, OR. The youngest of three children.

She graduated from Palisade High School in 1950. She met Ralph W. Martin on April 1st

1950 and was married June 4th 1950. Love at first sight. They had two children She was a

homemaker , who especially loved her gardening and traveling and spending time at their

Cabin on Grand Mesa. She loved spending time with her children and Grandchildren and

friends. The Highlight of her life was bing a School Bus driver for 32 years for District # 51.

She won many safety awards thought out her years of driving the school bus.

Always working side by side with Ralph, whether helping family or friends.

You could usually fine them at the Clifton McDonald’s in the morning with their coffee

group. Monday - Friday . Thank you Clifton Mcdonald’s.

And a Very Special Thanks To Shari and John Markley for your kindness and extreme

caring for both of them .

Kathryn was proceeded in death by her parents Ray E. Markley and Florence Mae (Bowker)

Markley. Sister Mary Lu (Rex) Clifton and Brother Lee Markley (Flora) . One Great

Granddaughter (Elyse) .

She is survived by her husband Ralph William Martin, one daughter Diane (Jim) Dittrick,

Grand Jct, CO. Ray W. Martin of Aurora, CO. 6 Grand Children and 7 Great Grandchildren .

Several Niece’s and Nephews.

Services will be held at Brown’s Cremation & Funeral Service 904 N. 7th St. Grand Jct,. CO.

Memorial contributions can be made to HopeWest Hospice. 2754 Compass Dr. Grand Jct.,

CO. 81506

Interment at the VA cemetery in Grand Jct.

A celebration of life will be held at Long’s Park south side of E 1/2 Rd. At 1:30 - 4:00
