Kathryn Walling

Kathy’s life began in Michigan City, Indiana on February 23, 1962. Her journey ended in Grand Junction, Colorado on August 26, 2021. She passed away peacefully in her sleep with her long term partner Frank by her side.

She was a proud mother of four children: Nicholas, Aaron, Jennifer, and Andrew. She was blessed in love and found her soulmate John and enjoyed a loving marriage for 20 years before his passing.

She had a passion for caring for others and found immeasurable joy in her grandchildren. Kathy was always up for an adventure and enjoyed fishing, hiking, the beach and travel. Kathy is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Alea, Grace, Boxer, Hayden, Abraham, Miriam, Nika, Gabriel, Mashae, Mia, Kinsley, and James, daughters in law Adrijana, Holly, Elizabeth and India, son in law James, extended family and friends.

Kathy is predeceased by her husband John Walling, father James Barnett and stepfather Arthur Chandler.

Kathy is survived by her mother Barbara Chandler, brother Doug Barnett, sister Theresa Duxbury.

The memorial will be held at Brown’s Funeral Service 904 N. 7th St, Grand Junction, CO on Wednesday, September 1st, at 2 p.m.
