After a three-year battle with cancer, Kevin DeMar Lott passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on June 02, 2021.
Kevin was born on May 03, 1956, in Twin Falls, Idaho. After spending his childhood working on the family dairy in Castleford, Idaho, he went on to serve a two-year mission in Colorado with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved his heavenly father dearly. He touched the lives of many while serving in various callings for the church, including the young men’s president, Sunday school teacher and serving as a temple worker for the Kansas City Temple.
Kevin taught honesty and hard work through his entrepreneurial spirit, owning and operating convenience stores for over 29 years, and starting other businesses or ventures. He was passionate about his work and invested 100% into all projects he was vested in. He applied this mentality to his family and friends, and anyone who needed a helping hand. He touched many lives by putting others first, trying to put a smile on anyone’s face who was nearby, and going above and beyond to make any gathering memorable.
Kevin was proceeded in death by his father, DeMar Herman Lott. He is survived by his mother LaDawn Clark, step dad Glen Clark, wife Bonnie Jean Lott, four brothers (Carl, Dana, John & Steven), four sisters (Peggy, Julie, Kerry & Kristie), his sons (Kyler & Kade), his daughters (Trissa & Taylor), two step-daughters (Marci & Shelly), twelve grandchildren (Dale, Shaylynn, Austin, Megan, Kylee, Dustin, Cheyanne, PJ, Karlene, Kadence, Kai & Brighton), and one great grandchild (on the way).
Kevin was a giant of a man, dad, husband, Papa K, son, uncle, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed. We will cherish the time we had with him and carry his love and memories in our hearts forever.
