Kimberley Ann Lovlin

November 1, 1960 — January 19, 2024

Kimberley Ann Lovlin, age 63, died January 19, 2024 after a long illness. Kim was the daughter of Jewel E. Schottel and Ella Aruthur Boothe. Kim grew up on a dairy farm and attended K-12th grade in Montrose, CO. After graduation Kim moved to Nevada to start her career as an executive secretary.

Kim met her husband Gordon Lovlin in Nevada, then they moved to Myrtle Point, Oregon where they were married in 1983. Gordon and Kim then moved to Canada, Gordon's home country, and started their family. Gordon was killed in a vehicle accident in 1995, leaving Kim a young widow with two small children. Kim never remarried.

Kim loved to go. She was active with her children. They went camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, golfing, to the pool, and took vacation. She volunteered for the school, worked with charities, Lift-up, and the Salvation Army, and was a member of the Methodist Church. Kim always had a book in her bag, she liked the finer things in life including fashions, and she loved cooking for everyone. A family favorite was her wilted spinach salad.

Kim was preceded in death by her husband Gordon R. Lovlin, and by her father Jewel E. Schottel, her mother Ella L. Arthur Boothe, her brother Scott J. Schottel and step-brother Wayne R. Boothe.

Kim is survived by her daughter Ashley E. and husband Ryan Saigeon and grand-daughter Aleena, her son Chad M.
