Kirk Alex Alire of Grand Junction, Colorado passed on peacefully in his sleep at the Ranch. He was 50 years old. Kirk was born on June 15, 1972, in Rifle, Colorado to Ross Alire and Elaine Diaz Alire. Kirk graduated From Central High School and was raised on the family Quarter Horse Ranch, learning to ride a horse before he could walk. He raised and trained some of the best race horses in the country and was a professional Horse Farrier. Kirks knowledge as a world class horseman came; second nature, passed on by his Father Ross Sr. Kirk was a fun-loving guy, a great hunter, and fisherman. Kirk loved Country Music and enjoyed spending his time in the mountains. Kirk was a loving Father, Brother, and Friend.
He is survived by three sons Tyler Alire, of Douglas, Wyoming, Victor Alire, of Tucson, Arizona, Isaiah Alire of Grand Junction, Colorado. Survivors include Brother Ross V Alire Rangley, Colorado, Sisters Terry Kellerby of Clifton, Colorado and Debra Ifkovits Mesa, Colorado, two nieces Candra Kellerby and Jamey Kellerby Dehmel and many, Family members and friends.
Kirk was one of a kind; he will be missed. Kirk now rests in the Arms of his loving Father forever, at peace. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown’s Cremation Service, 904 N 7th street Grand Junction, Colorado 81501.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 19, 2022, at Brown's Funeral Chapel. A Rosary Prayer will be from 1:00 pm to 1:20 pm with the service to follow.
