Kirsten Ross

Kirsten Ross passed onto the other side November 11,th 2021 at St Mary’s Hospital after a long and valiant battle with her heart and an infection.

Born in Cortez, Kirsten moved with parents to Grand Junction in 1979. She graduated Palisade High School in 1997 as Valedictorian. She received her BA in Bio/English from Hastings College in Hastings Nebraska.  She spent most of her career working with her mom at the family business as a Medical Coder and Biller.

Known for her love of children, she was an amazing Mother and beloved Aunt. She was always there for every child in her life and went above and beyond to make wonderful memories. She loved the kids at New Emerson Elementary.

Kirsten is survived by her daughter Ryan, her parents Debbie and Frank Johns, brother Matthew, his wife Jessica and their children. Her faithful pets Maggie and Nell Bell.

A celebration of life is scheduled for November 20th at 11 am at Browns Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at the Palisade Cemetery.
