Lance Ritchie

Lance Del Ray Ritchie, 30, passed away at his home in Grand Junction, CO on 18 April 2020.

He was born on October 31st, 1989.  He was the son of the Late David Ritchie and DeRinda S. Ruth (McConnell) from Indianapolis, Indiana.  He was a National Honor Student and Graduate of Grand Junction High School.

Lance was a soft spoken, kindhearted and giving soul with a quite jokester mentality.  He always had a unique ability to make people laugh. He enjoyed computers, computer programming, video games and Heavy Metal music.  Lance had a passion for reading and a thirst for knowledge.  He was always trying to find ways to improve himself and the world around him.

Lance was a former cook for Dairy Queen in Orchard Mesa.  He was a Legend in the local Dairy Queen community simply for the number of years he worked there and the number of people he trained.

Lance is survived by his mother, DeRinda (Rindy) Ruth, Stepfather, John Ruth, two brothers Ryan Kiefer and DuWayne Ritchie all living in Grand Junction and a Half-Sister Jessica Ritchie from Florida.

Lance was proceeded in death by: David Ritchie (Father)
