Lanita Knapp

Lanita Knapp was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on March 21, 1943.  She lived, she loved and she laughed. No matter where Lanita lived throughout her life, she always considered Grand Junction, Colorado her home.  On September 17, 2019, Lanita passed away peacefully at HopeWest in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Lanita was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Knapp, parents Walton Doty and Madeline Clayton.  She is survived by her son Douglas Green, daughter Cindi Cullum, sisters Renetta Doty and Tammy Dieringer, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
