It is with great sadness that the family of Larry Ray Buxman announces his untimely death on Sunday, December 16, 2018. Larry, age 51, will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Larrysa Buxman, his son-in-law, Aaron Ketcham and two granddaughters (Graycelyn and Riverlyn) of Klamath Falls, Oregon; his mother and stepfather, Sharon and Jon Duncan of Grand Junction; two brothers - Richard Buxman of Denver and Craig (and Patti) Heartsill of Grand Junction; his sister, Kim (and Mary) Buxman of Mansfield, TX; his stepfather, Carl Pellam of Grand Junction; his uncle, Dennis Buxman of Grand Junction, and many, many others including nephews, nieces, and a multitude of friends and relatives. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Larry Warren Buxman in 2004.
Larry Ray Buxman was born on February 8, 1967 in Riverside, California. He moved to Grand Junction in 1978. He attended Palisade High School in the 1980s. Larry lived in the Grand Valley for most of his life where he worked 35 years in the automotive industry including more than 20 years as the manager of the family-owned business Terry’s Auto Repair and Quick Lube. Larry was an avid hunter. He also enjoyed fishing, trap shooting, and playing pool. Larry loved spending time with his family and friends, making them laugh out loud even in the toughest times. Above all, Larry will be remembered as a good and loyal friend.
