Larry Gross

Larry Gross passed away after battling a long illness September 20th at St. Mary's hospital, the same place where he was born more than 71 years ago.

Larry was a very strong man, who provided well for his family throughout his life.  He lived for many years in Las Vegas, building a reputation for excellence as a roofing contractor.  In his retirement he returned to the Grand Valley where he was able to pursue his love of cooking, fishing and gardening.  However, his favorite past-time was spending time with his beloved family.

He is survived by his wife of 53 Years, Patty Gross, as well as his children Shirley Cookson (Bill), Larry Gross (Lorinda) and his six grandchildren, Spencer, Sloan, Kelsie, Darian, Sommer and Rayne, as well as his brother David Gross (Shirley) and his sister Sheryl Marking.  He was preceeded in death by his parents Marge and Sylvan Gross of Grand Junction.
