Laticia Kay Terry, age 44, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday November 26th 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born January 8th, 1972 at Community Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. Laticia was the daughter of Joseph J. and Patricia Kay Hoppe Martinez. Her mother preceded her in death. She attended Grand Junction High School.
Laticia was employed at St. Mary’s Hospital for several years. She also was an over the road truck driver. Laticia had many hobbies. She loved camping and fishing on the grand Mesa, four wheeling, and spending time with her children and family. She was very outspoken, hard headed and stubborn, but she also had a heart of gold. She would do anything for her kids, grandkids and the people she loved. She loved to pull good jokes on everybody from time to time to keep you on your toes. She also loved the Dallas Cowboys!
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and her paternal grandparents. She is survived by her daughter, Alicia Kaylin Terry (Brad), son Aaron Hill Terry (Sarah), daughter Dallas Marlon Terry, son Oscar Hill Terry IV who are all of Grand Junction, Colorado. Her dad, Joseph J. Martinez, 2 brothers, Joseph J. Martinez (Tracy), Chad Martinez (Kendra) two grandchildren Lydia and Raven, numerous aunts and uncles and numerous nieces and nephews and two great nieces, and her brother Jason Gullion.
Also left behind but not forgotten, her loving dog, a boxer named Angus.
A celebration of life will be Sunday December 4th, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Eagles, 1674 Us. Hwy 50, Grand Junction, CO.
