Leo H. Warren was born April 24, 1928 to Walter Karl and Mamie Warren in Sentinel, Oklahoma. He passed away May 3, 2020 at Larchwood Inns after a long illness. He grew up in Burns Flat, Oklahoma and moved to Colorado in 1949. He worked at Waddell’s Market, Salt Lake Hardware and Cordray Roto-Rooter Service. He purchased the Roto-Rooter Franchise and operated it for 25 years.
Leo married Helen Boomsliter on November 1, 1953. On November 12, 1954, their daughter Rhonda was born followed by son Ron on March 16, 1958.
Leo and Helen attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church. They enjoyed many missionary trips with the Maranatha Group and traveled the world. Leo enjoyed working at the church, school and Community Center. Leo was also an avid photographer and enjoyed documenting his trips and spending time with his friends.
Leo is survived by his wife, Helen, his daughter Rhonda (Lowell) Huscusson of Grand Junction, and his son Ron (Deb) Warren of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. He had 2 granddaughters, Heather (Jerrod) Jackson of Lakewood, Colorado and Leslee Warren of Greenwood Village, Colorado. Also 2 great granddaughters, Clover and Willow Jackson. Also, his twin brother, Leon Warren of Claremore, Oklahoma and his sister Elsie (Fred) Bishop of Grand Junction.
A memorial service for Leo will be held later in the summer.
