Leonard Miller

Leonard Lee Miller  87 of Collbran, CO passed away on July 10, 2021 of a lengthy illness.   Born October 9, 1933 in Axtle, Kansas, he was the son of the late Daniel Miller and Wilma Phillipie.   Leonard married Loretta Hicks in Saguache, CO on May 20, 1961

Leonard was a graduate of Grand Junction High School in Grand Junction, CO.

He joined the Colorado National Guard where he served 9 years.   He was a hard worker who had numerous construction jobs and then went to work for the City of Grand Junction where he worked for 29 years before retiring.

Leonard enjoyed hunting, fishing and painting pictures and was friendly, kind and caring.

Leonard is survived by his wife Loretta, Children Ray (Lynn) Miller of Rifle, CO, Leona Miller Christlieb of Collbran, CO, LaDonna (Andrea) of Noble, OK, Marvin Miller of LaSal, UT and Leonard E (Carrie) Miller of Laramie, WY.  Leonard has 14 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren

Leonard was preceded in death by his Father Daniel, Mother Wilma, his Son Robert, a Brother Richard, Sister Lula Mae, Granddaughter Melissa and 6 Great Grandchildren

There will be no services per Leonard's request and memorial contributions may be made to Loretta Miller.
