Linda May Faber (Bruchez), age 69, died September 12, 2022 in Grand Junction, CO.
Born May 11, 1953 in Hayden, CO she was the daughter of Albert Bruchez and Afton Bruchez (Cook) of Hayden, CO. Linda was a graduate of Western State College, Gunnison, CO.
Linda was a dedicated wife and mother. She loved and cared for her family, shared her love of learning and teaching with her children, and supported them in their many endeavors. She loved the outdoors, hiking, walking her dogs, going to Lake Powell with her family and friends and taking her fourth grade class on camping trips to Dinosaur National Monument. She was active and enjoyed many sports, especially spending time golfing with her husband, Jerry. Linda was also an elementary school teacher for both 3rd and 4th grades. She taught at Shelledy Elementary and Rim Rock Elementary.
Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Neal Faber and her parents, Albert and Afton Bruchez. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Natalie (Adriaan) Faber-Padmos, The Netherlands, son Neal (Evelia) Faber, Twentynine Palms, CA, grandson Maxwell Faber, Twentynine Palms, grandson Niek Padmos, The Netherlands, granddaughter Maebel Faber, Twentynine Palms, granddaughter Novi Padmos, The Netherlands as well as her brothers, Leon, Robert and Donald Bruchez and sister Barbara Arnold as well as extended family.
