Loren Leon Darr, 85 died June 8th, 2021following a long illness with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.
Born March 2nd 1936 in Kansas, he was the son of the late Elroy and Mary Helen Darr.
Loren graduated from high school in Albuquerque, NM. He was a Veteran of the US Army.
Loren was co-owner and shop Forman of an RV repair shop in Alaska. He was also a Pilot, but his greatest joy was being a cowboy.
When he retired and moved to Colorado, he took pride in his saddle making and repair. Loren could do anything!
Loren was a kind, gentle man with a Love for kids, horses and dogs
Loren enjoyed Roping, he even made his own roping arena and shoots. He enjoyed life, and got to do everything most people dream of.
Loren values were, God, Family, hardworking and always willing to help.
Loren was preceded in death by parents Elroy and Mary Helen Darr and his Sister Evelynn Batson.
Loren is survived by his Spouse, Vicki Darr of Co, Son, Clayton (Kristy) Darr, Grandkids, Heather, Craig and Michael of Alaska, son Clark Countryman of Ohio, Son Guy (Paula) Countryman of Oregon, Son Aaron (Melissa) Countryman of Co, Son Levi (Shana) Countryman of Co, Daughter Caroline Countryman of Co, and Kelli Countryman of Co.
Brother Dale (Pat) Darr of NM, niece, Sue nephew, Christopher, Tom, Dwayne and Dan (Donna) Dunlap whom was like a son to him.
Loren had many Grandkids whom he was so fond of and many great grandkids and so to be great great grand kid.
His Church family and pastor Loyal ( Brenda) May and so many wonderful friends.
A Celebration of Life & New home followed with a dinner will be held at Grace Bible Church 101 Main st. Collbran, Co. On June 26th 2021 at 6:00 PM
