Loretta E. Harrison

March 4, 1941 - September 2, 2019.

Loretta passed away at Comfort Care in Grand Junction, Colorado.  Born to William Walter and Barbara Ellen Lancaster, she attended St. Josephs Catholic School and graduated from Grand Junction High School.  After graduation she completed cosmetology school and owned and operated her own beauty salon.  She married John A. Harrison and spent their years together in Grand junction and Collbran, Colorado.  Loretta  loved her community and served on the Grand Junction City Council.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, William Walter and Barbara Ellen Lancaster; beloved spouse, John Harrison; daughter, Barbara Lyons; brothers, Danny Ray, Roy, George, and John; sister, Martha Porter; brother-in-law, Paul Romisch; sister-in-law, Bernice Lancaster; nephews, Jerry Romisch, Bill, Mike and Allen Porter, and nieces, Pauline and Paula.

Loretta is survived by children, Leslie (Rick) Peeples, Melanie (Alan) Hodges, and John (Susan) Harrison; 10 grand children; 16 great-grand children; brothers, Carl Lancaster and Paul (Dianne) Lancaster; Sister Mary Ann Romisch; sisters-in-law, and many loved nieces and nephews

Loretta loved her family and will be missed.

Graveside services will be Monday, September 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
