Lynn Batterman
The beloved husband, father, and friend to many, passed away Friday morning April 23, 2021. He was born in Colorado on November 14, 1943 and lived most of his life there.
Lynn lived a full and active life prior to his passing.
He was a Lieutenant in the Navy and served in the VF-96 squadron in the Vietnam War. He served as a RIO in the F-4 Phantom. He had a deep passion for cooking and enjoyed experimenting with new foods and cooking styles. He loved the mountains, and activities such as taking long sight-seeing drives, camping, 4-wheel driving, and fishing.
In his final season of life, he moved to Grand Junction and really enjoyed his time with his wife and family, making new friends, and reconnecting with old friends. He also adopted new hobbies, such as, driving side-by-sides, E-biking, and RVing.
Lynn is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Linda, his two sons and their wives Chris and Alta, and Jeremy and Jodie. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren: Ryan, Leahra, Jacob, Adda, Kaden, Gavin, Abigail, Evan, Grace, and Andrew.
A Celebration of his life will be held on June 12, 2021, at the Mendon Station, Mendon Utah, from 14:00 to 17:00 MDT.
