Lynwood St. Peter

Lyn St.Peter, loving husband, father and grandfather born Jan26, 1942, passed on December 14th, 2020. Lyn enlisted in the USAF in 1962 and served as a medic until his discharge in 1966. During his time of Service at Castle AFB near Modesto, CA is where he met Donna Nelson, whom he married in March of 1966. Lyn worked at Carson City Hospital in Michigan as a nurse and quickly became the Director of nursing. After 13 years in that position, he became the Human Resources Director at the hospital until he Retired after 31 years total. During retirement, he became a member of Canyon View Church and The Gideons International.

Lyn is survived by his wife, Donna whom he married March 19, 1966, his son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Ann St.Peter, Grandson Gabe, brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Linda St.Peter, and sisters and brothers-in-law, Kay and Audley Pierce, Janet and Paul Pitlick, and Pam St.Peter-Allen and Jim Allen. Lyn was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Lois St.Peter, and his sister, Patricia Hansel.

Service will be held January 22 at 11:00am at Canyon View Church in Grand Junction. A military honor guard ceremony will be held at the Grand Junction VA Cemetery for immediate  family at 1:00pm.  Donations can be made in his name to Hope West Hospice Care Facility in Grand Junction, CO.

A Zoom service to celebrate Lyn's life will be held at a later time, to be determined.
