In loving memory of Madeline Corey who entered into God’s heaven January 13th, 2021. Madeline was born, Madeline Gabriella January 7, 1928 in Boulder, Colorado. She worked at the Boulder Sanitarium after completing high school, and married Robert Corey July 11,1948. Together they established the Silver Springs Trout Farm of Montrose, Colorado, then divorced in 1967. Madeline moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in 1969 and became a proofreader for the Daily Sentinel. She worked at Read More Bookstore part-time. Madeline was an avid reader and immensely enjoyed her careers for decades. After retirement she tenderly worked with the elderly as a home companion. Madeline had a deep love and connection to her parents, brothers, sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her beloved son Kenneth Corey in 1974. She is survived by her daughter Teresa Dilka, son and daughter in law Steven and Charlene Corey. She cherished her grandchildren; grandson Cole Dilka, grandson and granddaughter in law Corey and Jessica Dilka, granddaughters Rachael Corey and Erin Armstrong. Madeline had six great grandchildren. Services will be held at Brown’s Funeral Home January 26th, 2021 at 1 PM
