Marcos Alejandro Camacho Guillen, age 16, passed away on the evening of May 20th, after a tragic accident that occurred on the Independence overlook in the Colorado National Monument in Grand Junction. He was surrounded by close family
Marcos was born on January 6, 1998, the son of Kimberly Guillen and the late Octavio Camacho (1971-2002) in Grand Junction, CO. He was a sophomore at R5 High School. His family and friends remember him as an upbeat, charismatic, exciting energy to be around. His caring heart, cheesy smile and warm hugs will never be forgotten. Marcos enjoyed the typical teenager activities such as watching sports, listening to music and going on any adventure he could be involved in.
Marcos is survived by his mother, Kimberly, brother, Nikolas, sisters Camila, and Anali, Grandma, Mary, aunt Erica, uncle Joseph and many other family members, cousins and countless friends.
Friends may attend a visitation at Monument Chapel, 1022 Grand Avenue, on Monday, May 26, 2014, from noon until 2 p.m. and are invited to services immediately following at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jef Ray, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in the name of Marcos Alejandro Camacho Guillen to any Vectra Bank location.
