Marcy Lynn Jamison (Garcia), age 58, of Grand Junction, CO, entered into eternal rest on August 18, 2024. Born to Amador Garcia and Betty Glover on February 5, 1966, in Albuquerque, NM. Marcy was a woman of exuberant spirit, known for her laughter and generosity of heart.
Marcy graduated from Farmington High School in 1984 and soon after served honorably in the United States Navy as an EMS/OB tech until 1988. Following her military service, she pursued a career in retail, specializing in jewelry, where her warmth and radiant personality brightened many lives.
Marcy’s love for the outdoors was profound, often found enjoying nature’s beauty with her beloved family and friends. Her infectious laugh and selfless nature left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Marcy’s unwavering commitment to her loved ones defined her as cherished wife, mother, daughter and sister. Her memory will be lovingly honored by her mother, Betty Glover; her father, Amador Garcia; her beloved husband, Kevin Jamison; and her adored children, Sarah Heidelbach, along with her treasured grandson, Connor Haston, Nicholas Jamison, Matthew Jamison and his wife Falon. Her legacy extends to her devoted brothers, Steve Garcia and his wife Rachel, John Garcia and his wife Tara, Mark Garcia and his wife Ruth along with many loved nieces & nephews. Marcy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred & Laverne McCorkle, Elinor Henley and in-laws Pat & Rita Jamison.
The family would like to invite you to join them in commemorating Marcy’s life of service and love with a military honor service to be held at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, 2830 Riverside Pkwy, Grand Junction, CO 81501, in Grand Junction, CO, on the fifth of September, 2024, at ten o’clock in the morning.
For those unable to attend, there will also be a Celebration of Life on 7th of September at the Farmington Elks Lodge #1747, 801 Municipal Dr., Farmington, NM 87401 at 10:00am.
May Marcy Lynn Jamison’s soul be granted eternal repose, and her spirit continue to shine as a beacon of love and warmth in the hearts of those that she leaves behind.
