Marilyn Christensen

Marilyn Christensen left us to join her husband Chris in heaven.

Marilyn was born in Rochester New York on March 3, 1927. Her family moved to Palisade, Colorado in 1942. She graduated from Palisade High School and attended Mesa College.

Marilyn met her husband Chris, in 1943 and married in 1945. They were married for 49 joyful years until Chris passed away in 1994.
Marilyn was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church. She was active in Eastern Star and P.E.O. for many years.

Survivors include one son, Michael Christensen, one daughter, Michelle Hardy (Steve), Grandchildren Aaron Christensen, Sam Hardy and Dr. Abbey Hardy-Fairbanks MD and Great Grandchildren Cooper and Charlee June.

Marilyn touched many lives and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hope West Hospice of Grand Junction, 2754 Compass Drive, Grand Junction, Colorado 81506. Her family wants to give their appreciation to everyone at Hospice that was involved during Marilyn’s journey home
