Mark Miller

November 22, 1953 — November 10, 2015

Mark A. "Bud" Miller, age 61, of Grand Junction, Colorado died November 10th 2015. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on November 22nd, 1953 to Carl W. and Bernice (Gochnauer) Miller. He grew up in Colorado Springs, CO and attended Mitchell High School. He lived in several cities over his lifetime but made his home in the Salida, CO area from 2003 until 2012 when he moved to Grand Junction to live with his mother and lend a helping hand. Bud held many jobs over his lifetime and was always working on future business ventures. He was most satisfied being self employed. He will be remembered by many for his quick wit, vast knowledge of numerous subjects, his "silver tongue", and being a ladies man. Bud was talented in that he could build or fix anything. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle "Gracie" with his brothers of the wind, and was content being in the mountains where he liked to camp and fish. Bud was a kind and loving man, but did not always display this in traditional ways. It was in the little things he did for family and friends. Bud was preceded in death by his father, Carl W. Miller, and his sister Carla MacElhaney who passed away on September 21st 2015 in California. He is survived by his mother, Bernice, and a brother, Gary (Sue) Miller of Grand Junction, a daughter Amy (Jary) Johnson and two grandchildren, Grayson and Zander Johnson all of Castle Rock and a special Aunt, Linda Weatherman (Micky Ross) of Wheatridge, CO. Memorial services are pending. Burial of his ashes will eventually be at Peyton Cemetery, Peyton, Colorado. Please feel free to sign, share a photo or memory, as it would be of great comfort to his family.
