Marolyn Hausner

Marolyn M. Hausner, age 80, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019 following a long illness.

Born January 19, 1939 in Delta, Colorado. She was the daughter of the late Miles and Lenora Richards.

Marolyn graduated from the Delta High School, in 1957. She had been employed as a secretary by E. Schaaf and Associates in Delta and also was a caregiver in Grand Junction.

As a young girl in Delta, she enjoyed riding horses, twirling, teaching and tap dancing.

Marolyn was a member of Grand Junction Gun Club, the Coin Club, Quilting Club, and she did fly ball with her dog, Annie. She also was a member of the Karate Club in her 70's and was issued an honorary Black Belt certificate in 2014.

She was a very hard worker and always willing to give of herself. She loved to tease, laugh and joke. She loved to take her grandkids swimming at the Delta Pool.

Marolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hausner in July 1994. She is survived by her sons Miles (Linda) and Bruce (Anay) Hausner and her daughter Yvonne (Ted) Quinton. Marolyn had 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Marla Boller.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown's Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 904 N. 7th street, Grand Junction, Colorado.
