Marta Beaulieu

February 17, 1944 — December 18, 2020

Marta “Martie” Beaulieu was born to Climaco and Sara Montoya in Cordova, New Mexico. She was a kind and loving person to whomever she met. She demonstrated this by calling everyone “sweetie” or “honey”. She enjoyed her children, grand children, siblings, nieces and nephews. She was such a generous person - sometimes to a fault.

Marta attended Junction Community Church where she enjoyed being a part of the hospitality team and welcoming everyone with a warm smile. Because of her Native American heritage, she also enjoyed making and selling jewelry at Pow wows and their store in Massachusetts. Her hobbies included jewelry making and collecting Boyd Bears.

She is survived by her sons Gigi (Kelly) Beaulieu, grandson Richard (little guy) from Whitman MA, and Richie (Lisa) Beaulieu, grandson Alec from Whitman, MA. In addition, she is survived by her special friend Don Steiger, sisters Cleo Martinez, Raquel Gonzales, Leah Stevens, Charlotte Trujillo, and Maxine Stinemetze, all of Grand Junction and brothers Joe Montoya from West Palm Beach, FL, Sam Montoya from Grand Junction, CO and Dave Montoya from Aurora, CO and several nieces and nephews and friends. She is also preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Dolores Ann Montoya and Priscilla Espinoza. May she Rest In Peace and enjoy visiting with mom, dad, and the girls in heaven.

A memorial will be determined at a later date.
