Marvin A. Hearnesberger passed away peacefully at home with family present on June 28, 2020. He was 89 years old. Marvin was born July 24th, 1930 in Newton, Kansas to Fred and Sarah Hearnesberger. He graduated from Dalhart High School in Dalhart, Texas. Marvin served five years in the United States Air Force as a staff sergeant, photo lithographer before meeting and marrying Lorraine (Weber) Hearnesberger in January 1954 in New Mexico.
Marvin owned and published the Nucla Forum newspaper, was a uranium miner, and was a top performing sales representative for VWR Scientific. He retired in 1995 and moved to Fruita, Colorado.
Marvin enjoyed his family and had a wonderful sense of humor. Everyone who ever met Marvin felt an instant affection for the gentle man he was.
Marvin is survived by sons Craig of Layton Utah, and Tim of Phoenix Arizona, daughter Sandy Bennett of Fruita Colorado, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine and his son, Scott Jay Hearnesberger.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
