Mary Fix

Mary Louise Pastore David Fix

Mary was born August 9, 1913 to Theresa David Pastore and Louis Pastore in Dawson, New Mexico.  She went to be with her Lord April 5, 2018 in Grand Junction, CO.  She was 104 years old

When she was 3 months old her father was killed in a mine accident.  Mary and her mother whent to live with her grandparents in Gunnison, CO.  Mary attended school in Los Angeles, CA, graduating from L.A. Jr. College in 1934.  She married Richard Fix June 30, 1934.  Together they had five children, Louis, Maureen, James, Charles, & Patrick.

Mary was a stay at home mom, she was very involved in the church, teaching all ages, playing her violin, and helping wherever needed.  She liked to do work search puzzles, read and crochet.

She moved to Palisade, CO to live with her daughter in 2004 and made many friends here.

Surviving family are Maureen Moore and Patrick Fix of Melba, Id., 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren & several great-great grandchildren.

Graveside service Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM  followed by a Celebration of Life at the Palisade Church of The Nazarene at 11 AM
