Melody Stewart

Melody Ann Stewart "Little Mel," age 61, died October 1, 2019 following a long term illness.

Born October 22, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Hubert D. Stewart and Barbara Ann Senkbeil "McManis". She was the oldest sibling of four and yet was the smallest and most petite of them.

She was born in Denver, Colorado, but grew up in California where she attended school. She became and excellent swimmer, and was the star of her swim team. She made her way back to the Palisade area in 1987, and met her "old man" David in 2000.

Melody enjoyed many careers, as a caregiver, seamstress, and bartender. Melody enjoyed camping in the mountains, outdoor activities, sewing, and had a love of dogs.

Melody is survived by her Old Man David Hendrickson and her dog Patches, whom were both by her side as she passed. Her smile won you over in no time at all, and when Little Mel giggled, you knew you were her friend.
