Michael Hollermeier

Mike went to be home with the Lord on December 21st in Grand Junction, Colorado at the VA Community Living Center.  He was surrounded by his loving wife of 55 years, Gloria Hollermeier and daughter Debbie Orrick.   Mike was born in Bell, California and was a veteran of the United States Army.   He was preceded in death by his parents John and Leone Hollermeier.

Mike worked many years as a real estate broker and prior to his retirement worked and traveled (along with his wife) as a manager for senior retirement facilities.

He positively impacted people throughout his life and was a genuinely kind and loving man.  He had a great sense of humor and a brilliant smile.  He is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife Gloria Hollermeier, daughter Debbie (Kevin) Orrick, granddaughter Shae Orrick, grandson Chase Orrick, brother Robert (Natalie) Hollermeier, sister Joanne Johnson, sister in-law Barbara Haynes and many nieces and nephews.

Mike loved the Lord and we rest in the knowledge that our Heavenly Father welcomed him home with the words “well done, good and faithful servant”

Due to COVID, a private family service will be held.  Mike will be laid to rest at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Grand Junction.
