Michael Lamb

Michael Lee Lamb, age 70, of De Beque, CO, passed away February 22, 2015 at Hope West Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction. Mike was born March 22, 1944  in Beatrice, Nebraska,  son of the late Wesley Lee and Pauline C. Mahloch Lamb. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served on the USS Jenkins during the Vietnam War.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Ronald. He is survived by two sons, Michael (Lonnie) Lamb of Clifton, CO and Aaron (Heather) Lamb, Hunker, PA, and his cousin, Linda (Franz) Mahloch of Lincoln, NE  Mike lived his life to the fullest and lived life on his terms. He spent time in Montana and Wyoming working on a ranch, riding horses and working on cattle drives. He settled in Quincy, Illinois where he enjoyed riding his motorcycle around the countryside and his photography hobby. Mike last worked as a welder. He made many close life-long friends who enjoyed his great sense of humor. He was always ready to help a friend. He will be greatly missed.
