Michael C. Polniak

Michael Polniak, formally of Denver, passed away January 31st, 2024 in Grand Junction. He was born in 1950 in Denver, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Betty Polniak,  and sister Diana Ochoa. He is survived by his daughter Lara Polniak of Pueblo, sister Beverly (Gordon) Hamilton, sister Patty Graves, sister Joyce (David) Hawley, brother Frank (Kris) Polniak, sister Yvonne (Joe) Padilla, sister Anna Smith and numerous nieces and nephews. Mick had many joys in life, his most precious was his daughter Lara. He had many lifelong friends and enjoyed talking to them about growing up together in the Adams County area.  Mick's greatest passion in life was camping and fishing. He knew the state of Colorado, all the roads, mountains and fishing spots. He loved talking about memories he had about fishing in the back country of Colorado. We will miss his humor, his stories and his love of the simple things in life.
