Michael Paul Roberts

Michael Paul Roberts, 63, passed away suddenly on the 13th of January of 2018 following a battle with an illness. Michael was born on the 21st of July in 1954 to Rea Fay Roberts (Meeks) of Grand Junction, CO, and Charles Franklin Roberts (deceased). Michael attended and graduated from Central High School of Grand Junction, CO, in 1973. Michael worked at Grand Villa as a C.N.A. for the about the last eight years. Michael was very active, enjoying taking care of his landscaping of his house and enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, biking, hunting, and many other outdoor sports. Michael also enjoyed professional sports, watching golf, watching and attending baseball games (he was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Colorado Rockies), watched, attended and was a lifelong and avid Denver Broncos fan.

Michael enjoyed his life and did everything he could to help, support, and provide for his family, and help his friends. He was very energetic. Loved to play with his grandchildren (Unica and Ismay Roberts) and play with his dog GW. Michael was a good friend to those that knew him, and a bit of a jokester. He enjoyed life to the fullest that he was able to. Michael was preceded in death by his dad, Charles Roberts, his uncles, Kenneth, Bobby, and Leonard Roberts, and his granddaughter, Roseanna. He is survived by his spouse, Pricilla of Grand Junction, CO, sons, Shaun (Amanda) Roberts of Farmington, NM, and Darrell Roberts of Sioux Falls, SD, mom Fay Roberts, of Grand Junction, CO, brothers, David of Cortez, CO, Gary of Dewey, AZ, and Steve Roberts of Gilbert, AZ, grandchildren, Unica and Ismay Roberts of Farmington, NM and two step-daughters, Michele Snyder of Rifle, CO and Molly Britto of Killeen, TX.  Private services will be held at a later date. Please do not send flowers or cards. Money for such items can instead be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project in Michaels name. Services are being conducted by and entrusted to Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Services.
