Michele Nicoli, age 63, passed away peacefully at her home in Aurora, Colorado, on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
She was born on June 9, 1961, in Los Angeles, California, to Alfred and Rachel Brown. Michele was the loving wife of John Blake Bulsterbaum. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Brown, and her sister, Susan Larsen.
Michele grew up in a large family—one of eight children. Throughout her childhood, the family moved countless times due to their father's work. This upbringing helped her develop the ability to make friends easily. She never met a stranger.
She graduated from Uintah High School in Vernal, Utah, in 1979. After graduation, Michele left Vernal for the big city of Denver, Colorado. It was there that she built a life for herself and made numerous lifelong friendships. Denver was also where she met and married the love of her life, Blake. Together, they raised their children and enjoyed many of life’s great pleasures.
Michele loved spending time with her children and absolutely adored her grandchildren. Whether relaxing in the backyard by the smoker or out on a lake boating and fishing, she cherished time outdoors with Blake. But most of all, her one true celebrity love was Donny Osmond—she fell for him at a very young age and remained a super fan until the end.
Michele had a deep commitment to her friends, both old and new. She loved you all so much. Her laugh and smile were infectious, and her heart was the size of Texas. She was always helping someone in need, and her door was always open.
Our lives—and the world—will be a different place without her, but we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her dad, her sister, and other loved ones.
Michele is survived by her husband, Blake Bulsterbaum; sons, Joshua Nicoli and Bradley Bulsterbaum; and daughters, Lindsey Bulsterbaum and Angela Badger. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Jacob Nicoli, Addison Nicoli, Greyson Badger, Olivia Drummond, and Jaxson Bulsterbaum.
In addition, Michele is survived by her mother, Rachel Brown of El Paso, TX, and her siblings: Sheri (Rich) White of Grand Junction, CO; Kerry (Cheryl) Brown of Santa Rosa, CA; Kevin (Sheila) Brown of Mesquite, NV; Lisa Lee(Mike Murphy) of Fort Bragg, CA; Nikki (Terry) Estep of Centennial, CO; and Erika (Johnny) Blanshard of El Paso, TX, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
