Millie Nottingham

Millie Nottingham, age 95, passed away October 20, 2022.  She was born to Goldie Mae and Benjamin Snook in Catoosa, Oklahoma, July 7, 1927.  During the 1930’s depression, her family moved to Fruita, Colorado.  She married H. Arnold Nottingham April 19, 1943.  To this union six children were born: Mallory Nottingham, Janee Roche, Elena Krusniak, Aleta Nottingham, Cheryl Curl, and Marlon Nottingham.  Millie and Arnold lived on the family ranch in Avon, Colorado, until 1978.  They built a house in Wolcott, Colorado and lived there until 1985, at which time they moved to the Grand Junction, Colorado area.

She enjoyed her family, gardening, and creating heirloom cross stitch art.  Her fabulous cooking was enjoyed by her family and friends for many decades. Millie is survived by five children, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two sisters.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Arnold Nottingham; one son, Mallory Nottingham; and one granddaughter, Jada Krusniak.  Service will be private in the future.
