Morris Ray Searcy

March 15, 1958 — February 8, 2025

Morris Ray Searcy, age 66 passed away February 8th 2024 naturally and peacefully. He often liked to be referred to as, “Ray” from his family or, “Pops” from his kids.

Ray was born March 15th 1958 in Denver, Colorado and was the son of the late Isabelle Miller and George Searcy.

Ray was a retired custodian from the D51 School district, He also did custodial work for the city where he was landscaping for many years.

He enjoyed watching football, especially his favorite team the Denver Broncos. He loved spending time with his family and his dogs. Listening to Bob Seger and watching his favorite TV shows like Judge Judy and The big bang Theory were some of the things he enjoyed best.

Ray was a friendly and charismatic man. He wore a smile to friends and strangers alike, always willing to lend a helping hand.

Ray was preceded in death by his Mother Isabelle, his two sisters Elana & Lori, a brother Frank, his daughter Lisa and grandchild Lisa.

He is survived by his sister Anita, brothers Chuck and Tom, his grandkids Alex, Jasmine and Aaron, his Great granddaughter Lyra and ex-wife Margie.

We will be celebrating the life and memory of Morris Ray “Pops” Searcy on his Birthday March 15th, 2025 at Eagle Rim Park in Orchard Mesa from 2pm to 4:30 pm

Pops you will be dearly missed. With every football game, laughs around the dinner table, and whenever we hear Bob Seger on the radio, we will always remember the smiles and memories you gave us. We all love you so much, and look forward to seeing you again someday. Farewell Old man, Rest in Peace.
