Naomi Dawn Chacon passed away unexpectedly at the age of 32 on November 9, 2024.
She was born January 6, 1992, in Grand Junction, Colorado to John Chacon and Kimberly Beldon both currently reside in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Naomi attended Grand Junction High School, R-5 High School, and Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Naomi most recently managed an office for a local business. She also cared for the elderly, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Naomi was a competitive cheerleader and dancer for Express All-Stars. She was an exceptional athlete and received many awards and trophies throughout her 10 years. She was extremely proud of a certain trophy she won, the title of World Jump Champion.
Naomi was such a kind, beautiful person. Her contagious personality would light up the room. When she loved, she loved deeply and would do anything for you. She was a protector of the people she loved and cared for. Naomi enjoyed helping others even at a young age. She was always eager to share her knowledge or skills with others who needed her help.
Naomi was married to Rico Chacon, and though this relationship was not permanent, they did have a child together and remained friends afterward. Naomi loved being a mother the most. She has three daughters, Marisol, Azulina, and Yareli, and two boys who are the youngest of her children Angel and Santiago.
Naomi is preceded in death by her grandmothers Margaret Chacon and Karen Fransioli, her grandfather Joseph Chacon, a sister Elicia Chacon, her Aunt Darlene Ortiz, her Aunt Sharon Scott, her Uncle David Chacon, and Cousins Samantha Crespin and Cory Ortiz.
Naomi is survived by her children Marisol, Azulina, Yareli, Angel, and Santiago, her grandfather Benjamin Mascarenas, her parents John Chacon and Kimberly Beldon (Chad), her sisters Tosha Dixon and Krista Huey (Bou), her Brothers Jesse Marquez and Dwight Chacon, her Aunts Diana Crespin (Sam), Grace Chacon, Mary Chacon, Robin Gramza (Tom) and Kathie Moulton, her Uncles Joe Chacon (Jane), Dwayne Goff, Dwight Goff, Sean Sparks and Larry Ham. In addition, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. If you were her family, know she dearly loved each one of you with her whole heart family was very important to her.
There will be a private memorial service to celebrate Naomi’s life. Family and friends will be invited to come and celebrate her life.
