Our dear mother, Naomi June Nogler, was born June 19, 1928, the 6th of the late James Russel and Cleta Belle Snyder. Her life here on earth ended May 22,2021.
Our mother was one of the strongest women I have known. Not physically, though in her prime she was .strong enough.
Family was a strong part of her life. She had 9 siblings with whom she stayed in close contact. After caring for her husband during the last few years of his life, she lost him when she was 50 years old, with 3 young adult children to shepherd. She managed to participate in the raising of all of her grandchildren, even though her 3 children were scattered across the country.
Her faith was strong. In spite of the challenges faced by a young widow, I never heard her complain to God or see evidence that her faith was shaken. She read her Bible as well as other religious and inspirational books daily. She also listened to religious internet broadcasts when that technology became available. Her church was very important to her, however her relationship with God was even more so.
Yes, at nearly 93 years old, she was no longer physically strong, however her strength of faith and spirit will be remembered.
Mom was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Nogler.
Mom is survived by 3 children, Robert Allen (Deb) Nogler II, Calvin Dean (Patricia) Nogler, and Pamela Rae Zal; four grandchildren, Robert Allen (Jane) Nogler III, James Nogler, Amir Scott Zal, Kasra James (Amy) Zal. Great-Grandchildren Hannah, Dean, Edward and Elliot and older sister Donalee
