Nathan Highline

January 26, 1957 — July 11, 2018

NATHAN LEE HIGHLINE, 61, WENT TO BE WITH OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST ON JULY 11TH 2018.  THIS GIANT OF A MAN WITH A HUGE HEART FOR ALL, LOST HIS BATTLE WITH HEART DISEASE.

NATHAN WAS BORN JANUARY 26TH 1957 IN DEL NORTE, COLORADO TO ROBERT NATHANIEL HIGHLINE AND PATRICIA MAE JONES HIGHLINE.  NATHAN GREW UP ALL OVER THE WESTERN UNITED STATES BUT CALLED SAGUACHE, COLORADO HIS HOME TOWN.

IN 1971 THE HIGHLINE'S MADE GRAND JUNCTION COLORADO THEIR NEW HOME TOWN.  NATHAN ATTENDED BOOKCLIFF JUNIOR HIGH AND CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL.  AFTER SCHOOLING, NATHAN SPENT MANY YEARS WORKING AS A ROUGHNECK AND THEN BECAME A MASTER BRICKMASON, WHICH HE DID FOR MOST OF HIS ADULT LIFE.  NATHAN IS PROCEEDED IN DEATH BY BOTH PARENTS AND HIS NEPHEW SAMUEL T. SLAZAR, AND HIS GREAT NEPHEW ISAIAH P. LUCERO.

NATHAN ENJOYED MOST OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES, BUT HUNTING AND FISHING WAS WHERE HE REALLY EXCELLED.  HE WAS A CHAMPION HORSE SHOE THROWER AND THE GREATEST OF JOKE TELLERS.  NATHAN WAS JUST A GREAT MAN.

NATHAN IS SURVIVED BY HIS THREE SISTERS: TWILA, NILA AND LILA HIGHLINE, HIS WONDERFUL WIFE TAMI BUNIGER HIGHLINE, HIS BROTHER CHARLES HIGHLINE, AND TWO SONS BY MARRIAGE, DREW AND CHRISTOPHER UNGLES.  HE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY MANY NEPHEWS AND NIECES AND GREAT NEPHEWS AND NIECES, AND MANY COUSINS.
