Nicholas Herkimer

Nicholas David Herkimer, 26, of Fruita, CO, passed away September 2, 2014.  He is survived by his parents, Kenny and Gayla Herkimer, brothers, Quentin Hoopes (Jessica Hoopes) and Jerry Herkimer, Nephew Riley Herkimer and his beloved dog and best friend, Frank Footer.

Nick was born in Roosevelt, Utah, on February 24, 1988 and moved to Fruita at age 5.  He was always smiling and very much enjoyed life no matter what you found him doing.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowboarding, dirt biking and just about anything that allowed him to be outdoors.  Nick loved spending time with family and friends.  He touched the lives of all who had met him in his short journey of life.
