Norris Miller

Norris Moline Miller, age 95 died November 13, 2021. Born January 24, 1926 in Washburn, North Dakota, he was the son of the late Phillip and Olga Miller. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served as a corpsman third marine division during World War II from Guadalcanal to Iwo Jima. Norris graduated from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. He will be dearly missed by all the people that knew and loved him. Norris was a pharmacist for 40 years. He owned his own pharmacy for many years in Forest Park, Illinois. He was the hardest working man. Norris was a man of many stories and adventures. He was a strong, brave man that was admired by his wife and children. He was an amazing father, husband, and friend. Norris was preceded in death by Genevieve (Jennie) Miller, Dean Gerald Miller, and Mark Norris Miller. Norris is survived by daughter, Gina M. Cantrell (Robert), Diane Miller, and his grandchildren Matthew and Bridget Miller. We will be holding a celebration of life on December 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the VA Cemetery for Norris and Genevieve.
